"From Mexico City, electronic artist Zeon delivers his most recent release, the powerful song 'Damage Control', and in our second review of his music, by the way, we are delighted to find that once again he excels at his craft, please keep reading you won't be disappointed.

From the early solid pounding of the beat, you can find that this song will unleash a lot of energetic vibes and an uplifting aggressive tone. Indeed the opening instantly hooks you and it gets even better when all the instrumentation gets going, which is heavily aggro-tech in its nature, which Zeon is well known to produce.

As he explains the meaning of the lyrics, this track is all about struggle and how to engage with it in a positive light, we know the world is a bit of a mess sometimes especially in the social environment and how we view our place in it, and this is a homage to the whole ordeal with a defiant attitude to our life's journey and how to manage it with damage control instead of losing ourselves to oblivion. This is a great message.

Going now to the more technical side of it (which is our specialty :) Zeon nails it again with the solid beats and electro rock-oriented aspects, probably more industrial with aggro-tech elements as mentioned earlier.
His vocals are perfectly suited for this kind of style which he obviously has a lot of talent and has polished carefully. Also, he combines electro-pop elements as well and that gives the track a lot more range to appeal to all sonic audiences.

Damage Control is about some of my depression struggles and identity questions, but just because it’s a deep subject doesn’t mean the feeling has to be somber. It’s the opposite...It’s my way to dance through the pain. When making my EP, this song was the track that made me understand why I was making music and how it helped me in finding my voice and place in this world. I've worked with tons of artists creating their music videos and visuals in the past. So in a way, in the past, I used their words to express how I felt inside. But this time around, I'm using my own voice to let it all out and in my own way. "Wanted to be like them Now just wanna be me 'Cause I'm not yet who I'm meant to"
