INSIDE THE TRACK: [artist's commentary]

The story laying behind my first solo work [I WANT TO DIE] is quite curious. It appeared to become my first work in the synth-pop genre. Before that I was composing lyrics and music for typical gothic-rock music and I can’t say I was really happy with that, cause I’ve always felt constrained with some rules of the genre both in lyrics and sound. When it comes to lyrics I need as much freedom as possible and [I WANT TO DIE] was the riskiest and desperate of my works. I thought I would never let it out of my Moleskine notebook. This text is the essence of what was going on in my life at that moment, I desperately wanted to find the way out and I believed that there is a way, sometimes when you think this is the end of the world, it’s just the beginning of a new one and this is what this song about. It’s about a new life, a new level, a deeper level of understanding, a deeper level of life. It is also my first song from the upcoming EP which I’m currently working on.
