"Spanish DJ Jamonja delights us with his debut single 'Descend', this particular iteration that we are reviewing: the 'Holy Mix' is a great example of alternative music elements fusioned with gothic tendencies and dark dreampop vibes.
The piano work is beautifully written at the intro, the beat is strong in general & the groove is excellent at giving an eclectic kind of exuberant groove mixed with a smooth line of male vocals (by Michael Kentish) and even funky harmonies with a background set of female vocals (by Katie Burke).
This version has a dark but inviting animosity that fits perfectly on an alternative night club or a long night drive, your choice... and we must say that the synth alarm-like sound gives the track a thrilling mood that doubles when the electric guitar melodies kick in.
We recommend listening to the whole experience, the release has 2 other versions, an intro and an outro that expand perfectly the emotion and core signature of the track.
This is a great production for a debut track indeed, DJ Jamonja had a full team of very talented people that he shaped with his personal production & mixing skills, he is spot on with this version specially for music lovers that love finding eclectic groovy fusions!"

SYW Overall SCORE:
INSIDE THE TRACK: [artist's commentary]
The song is inspired on twin peaks tv show. all the analog instruments were recorded first as a dream pop demo song, then chopped and mixed along digital synths to create two different mixes, being this the first one of them. (Most used synth sounds: Spacious chorus, Thicket auto dub siren.)
