"Echo Adore debuts with their first single 'Caught in History', an alternative rock tune with a lot of new wave vibes and a very familiar mood, and also as high quality and in an old school trend like that of bands like The Smiths. The song has been nominated for the WAM (West Australian Music) Pop Song of the Year 2019, and with very good reasons, the track is very sweet and with a great animosity, it's obviously very catchy with a top notch production. It stands out as very melodic and full of harmonies, getting the perfect and final polish with an amazing vocal presence that sings a about a very relatable and profound message, that is so contagious with its pleasant tone and techinque, that shines spectacularly specially around the chorus. The instrumentation is very natural and it pays tribute to some post punk ambiences, guitars, drums and synth are beautifully executed and presented but the bass it's particularly very well arranged & last but not least, the final mix does a more personalized take that can make you appreciate what Echo Adore is trying to offer to the world. Don't miss this out if you like more organic oriented tracks with amazing vocals, their EP arrives next November."

INSIDE THE TRACK: [artist's commentary]
The song was inspired by the passing of an older friend.
The character portrayed in the song is attempting to come to terms with the impermanence of the experiences we attach ourselves throughout our lives.
In a world that appears to be becoming increasingly egocentric with the advancement of technology, people tend to forget to live in the moment which is ever so fleeting.
