"After a while, we wanted to resume activity this 2024, showcasing a more classic mellow synthwave sound from a very underground/unknown project, and we found Colorvox, an electronic synthwave artist that encapsulates that fine line between old-school synth ambiance and modern synthwave productions.

The angelical synth vocal melodies hooked us from the start, the music production does an effective work transmitting the ethereal atmosphere with nostalgic tones and romantic landscapes.

The vocals are also a captivating highlight using a reverberation effect that perfectly suits the vocal texture and execution, giving the song its distinctive heavenly character.

Although Colorvox does not have a lot of music out (yet) it's definitely worthwhile to keep an eye on their next releases;

"LONDON TRAIN" WAS ORIGINALLY WRITTEN IN 2002, AND THE DEMO SAT AROUND FOR YEARS. I ALWAYS THOUGHT IT WAS AN ODDLY SIMPLE SONG, BEING ONLY 3 CHORDS AND LYRICS THAT ARE EFFECTIVE, BUT CLEARLY NOT WRITTEN BY A POETRY LAUREATE. I THOUGHT IT WAS WORTHY OF ANOTHER ATTEMPT, THOUGH IT TOOK ME ANOTHER 20 YEARS TO GET AROUND TO IT! I PRIMARILY USE HARDWARE SYNTHS. ON THIS ONE, I USED A KORG KROME FOR ANY SIMULATED 'REAL' INSTRUMENTS AND THE CHOIR LEAD, AN ALESIS MICRON FOR THE BASS AND SYNTH LEAD, WITH AN E-MU AUDITY FOR PADS. THE AUDITY WAS ALSO USED ON THE DEMO 20 YEARS AGO. I ALSO THREW IN SOME PROCESSED SAMPLES FOR EAR CANDY. HONESTLY, THERE'S NOT MUCH TO THIS SONG! I'M ALSO A FILMMAKER, SO MY GIRLFRIEND AND I GRABBED MY CAMERA AND WENT OUT TO THE DESERT IN ARIZONA TO FILM A VIDEO FOR IT.
