"From U.K. electronic music artist and 80s keyboard enthusiast, Alfonse, delights us with his recent music production 'Generator', an exciting and solid synthwave oriented track with a lot of modern synthpop elements and other indie-electro nuances.

Right from the start, Alfonse delivers a strong music production with instantly catchy synth layers and melodies that remind of that warm old school synthpop sound, combined with a state-of-the-art mixing and a fresh modern atmosphere that borrows some charming 80s electro-pop elements.

The song also starts with minimalistic approach and slowly progress to more complex arrangements without loosing its character and balance, the vocals are smooth and skillfully produced culminating with a simple yet powerful and engaging chorus.

INSIDE THE TRACK: [artist's commentary]

I've always loved a fat arpeggiated bassline and i figured it was about time i made a track based around one; "Generator" was the result, A SLICE OF RETRO SYNTHPOP MIXED WITH A HELPING OF SYNTHWAVe. ALL the SYNTH patcheS were freshly made on a BASS STATION ii, utilising a few of its tricks, like oscillator error, glide divergence, and paraphonic mode. with the lyrics, i went with the night-drive/tron/miami vice vibe and pictured a high-octane escape along a flickering neon highway to a better place.
